This spring has been especially busy in the workshop, and we’re excited to share a few highlights from our latest bespoke commissions.
Fitted Wardrobes for a Regency Townhouse
One of our recent favourites was a full wall of floor-to-ceiling wardrobes for a stunning Regency home in central Brighton. The brief: maximise storage without compromising the period character of the room. We designed a set of classic panelled doors with subtle cornicing to mirror the original architecture. Inside, we customised the layout with pull-out shoe racks, soft-close drawers, and adjustable shelving to fit the clients’ lifestyle.
Alcove Shelving That Feels Built-In (Because It Is)
We’re often asked to create alcove units that look like they’ve always been part of the home. For a family in Hove, we recently completed a pair of symmetrical bookshelves and cupboards either side of their fireplace. Painted in a deep heritage blue and finished with solid oak tops, the result adds warmth, elegance, and plenty of hidden storage.
Home Office That Works as Hard as You Do
With so many people still working from home, functional design has never been more important. We recently built a fully integrated home office in a compact spare bedroom—complete with custom desk, shelving, and built-in cabinets to hide away printers and paperwork. The design made clever use of every inch, turning a small space into a calm and productive workspace.
