Tom’s Vans Removals Bristol is now 13 years old! After graduating, I decided to work for myself and be my own boss. It hasn’t always been easy – running your own business means you never switch off; you’re always looking for ways to improve and excel in your chosen field. I started my independent removals business with a simple aim – to be the best Man and Van company in Bristol! So many customers expressed delight when I turned up, well-spoken, on time and genuinely passionate about helping people. I have always loved customer service. I soon realised that I had made the right decision – I had chosen an industry I thoroughly enjoyed!

Daily, I meet new, interesting people and learn about their lives. By offering excellent service, I get a real buzz. I know that these customers will often remain good friends and recommend my Bristol Man and Van services to their friends and colleagues.

I opted for this career as I do not like to be stuck in an office all the time, preferring instead to be out amongst the public, seeing new places and finding inspiration. The business soon grew, and I needed to employ people. Since that first chap started working for me, I have ensured that all my Removals and Packing team have passion and dedication for customer service. I pick my team based on their experience, personality, customer service attributes and communication skills. Tom’s Vans has been recognised as a Fair Wage Employer too!

Our Bristol removal vans come equipped with trolley, straps, soft removals blankets and tools to assist in dismantling and reassembly of furniture. Our vans are air-conditioned and eco-friendly. We also carry £10,000 of goods in transit insurance, just in case.

          Just a little update to answer a few questions from customers regarding operation at the moment in regards to the house removals and “Man with a Van” services Tom’s Vans Bath  are currently offering. 

          We are offering House & Flat Removals, packing and “Man with a Van” Services locally and nationally. Despite the Coronavirus outbreak Tom’s Vans Removals have been offering removals services to our customers and we continue to do so. Up until today, we could only offer strictly essential moves, as per the Government guidelines, but as of today, we can now offer our full moving and packing services to all customers in Bath

          At Tom’s Vans Removals, we have been sanitising our removals vans after each move, maintaining strict social distancing where possible and using masks. Currently, we are not able to take customers in the van on journeys. When you make a booking I will outline what we will do to ensure your safety and also what we expect you to do on moving day.

          European Removals – If you have been planning a move to Europe or you are waiting to move back to the UK, please contact me and I will advise you what to do. The Channel Tunnel is still operating so it’s just a case of checking if the country you’re moving to is currently allowing removals across the border to take place. There has been a lot of relaxing of the rules in the past couple of days and I will research this more today. So please get in touch if you want Tom’s Vans to move to Europe or back to the UK!
