Tom’s Vans Removals Bristol is now 13 years old! After graduating, I decided to work for myself and be my own boss. It hasn’t always been easy – running your own business means you never switch off; you’re always looking for ways to improve and excel in your chosen field. I started my independent removals business with a simple aim – to be the best Man and Van company in Bristol! So many customers expressed delight when I turned up, well-spoken, on time and genuinely passionate about helping people. I have always loved customer service. I soon realised that I had made the right decision – I had chosen an industry I thoroughly enjoyed!
Daily, I meet new, interesting people and learn about their lives. By offering excellent service, I get a real buzz. I know that these customers will often remain good friends and recommend my Bristol Man and Van services to their friends and colleagues.
I opted for this career as I do not like to be stuck in an office all the time, preferring instead to be out amongst the public, seeing new places and finding inspiration. The business soon grew, and I needed to employ people. Since that first chap started working for me, I have ensured that all my Removals and Packing team have passion and dedication for customer service. I pick my team based on their experience, personality, customer service attributes and communication skills. Tom’s Vans has been recognised as a Fair Wage Employer too!
